Take a look at these cuties!!! What a great weekend at Megan's. I know I always say that but it is always true. Each girl gets to pick Princess name for the fashion show. They can use their own name or a new one. Along with "Princess Sleeping Beauty" and "Princess Cinderella" we had a few new ones we have never heard before. "Princess Fire Star" and "Princess Shalondalocks." Emma's Mom was worried she rang the bell too much and I pointed out that is why you have her party here so that she can pretty much have whatever she wants. As long as she uses her best Princess manners...which she did. Grace's Mom brought in trays of sandwiches for the parents and was kind enough to share with my staff. Re: Blogging and LinkedIn and Twitter oh my...

I have been introduced and ultimately lured in by social media. It started with LinkedIn. Great business networking site. I have met some very nice people and am expanding my network of trusted business professionals. Then I was asked if I had a Blog, Facebook page and my Twitter name. What? There's more? As someone who used to design web sites you would think I would be jumping into this. However I have been in the business of having Princess parties for the last 4 years so I was out of the loop. I have to say that it is fun. I connected with some Moms on Twitter who have had parties at Megan's, old friends from high school on Facebook and have learned a massive amount of information from my colleagues. A woman I met at a "Tweetup" (a networking event of people who use Twitter) was super excited about a seasoning mix she has created which you can use on chicken, meat, fish, burgers, salads, eggs and more. She has been told it is so good she should sell it. I suggested she make some samples here and I can give them out to the Mom's who have parties. Anything that makes our lives easier when it comes to mealtime is a plus! I will keep you posted on the mix and any other tips or ideas I can get a hold of. If you have something to share, please do. End of the school year 09'

I know the official date for summer is June 21st but the sun is shining and the weather is warm so it feels like summer here in Wisconsin. Webz and Zingz family update with photos: Jake won conference in varsity tennis, Chelsea was on Prom court pictured here with the adorable Fricker girls who have all had parties at Megan's, Tom and I chaperoned Prom, Gabby graduated 8th grade, Ashley will be going to UW Whitewater and Megan celebrated her 19th birthday. Megan's Enchanted Forest is hoppin 'and the flowers are poppin' so get out there and enjoy life. End of spring cleaning tip....get rid of anything that isn't useful, beautiful or joyful. Happy Belated Mother's Day to all the Mom's out there :-) Since our kids are teenagers and they like to sleep in on weekends we decided to celebrate Saturday night. After Mia, Sophia and twins Ella and Olivia celebrated their birthdays at Megan's Enchanted Forest I went home for a fun night of movies ("The Jerk" and "Airplane") and games. We played "Apples To Apples" which is a really fun game if you have never played it. They have a jr. version if your kids are not yet teens. Per the usual I was sparkling head to toe with magic fairy dust but I had an addition to my attire. A perfect little hand print on the back of my pant leg. I am pretty sure it was pizza sauce. Thankfully Dawn removes everything on clothes. And there it is, your tip for the week. I hope you enjoyed your weekend and much as I did. The weather here in Wisconsin was beautiful. Dana

Welcome to Megan's Enchanted Blog. What a great weekend we had here at Megan's Enchanted Forest Tea Room! One little girl tugged on my pant leg and I bent down to see what she wanted. She opened up her arms and gave me a huge hug. She told me, "This is the best day of my whole life." I am honored. 5 years is a lot of days :-) Another girl found the perfect dress and asked me if she was pretty. I respond with, "Sweetie, you were pretty when you came in here, you just put on a fancy dress." I truly have the best job in the entire world. Wonderful staff, happy parents and unsolicited hugs from the sweetest little girls you have ever seen. Dana
